Mindy’s early years held many challenging life lessons that helped her develop a deep inner strength and understanding. Surviving a dysfunctional childhood, overcoming a life-threatening eating disorder, healing clinical depression and leaving a marriage to an alcoholic was the life journey that led her on a spiritual quest to fill a void within. She heard a call around the time of the Harmonic Convergence in 1987 that began a search for meaning that led her to the study of many metaphysical modalities, such as psychic development, channeling, astrology, and guided visualization, as well as becoming a Reiki Master. She was led to become a promoter and for the first time brought several Psychic Fairs to Southwest Missouri.

Mindy had a thirst for knowledge of self and fearlessly began to shine a light on the shadows within. Her divorce led to a long period of being single that allowed for a great deal of introspection and of dating and learning about herself through relationship with others. These lessons gave her insight into relationships of all kinds and how to effectively navigate the challenges to find harmony and love. A decade-long study of self-empowerment and self-love allowed her to let go of the masks she had worn to get the approval of others. She came to know and love her real true self, allowing her natural enthusiasm and optimism to shine even more brightly. She has known all along that the most effective way to teach others is by example and she strives to always walk her talk.

When Mindy entered the corporate world to support her 2 sons, she learned a great deal about marketing, helped many non-profit groups through her Community Relations position and received numerous awards including being named one of the “20 Most Influential Women of 2010” by the Springfield Business Journal. Yet even with success, her soul called out for something more…to be of service to humanity and the Earth.  She left the corporate world to return to her spiritual roots.

Mindy’s entire life evolved to a new level after a 2-year training in the medicine ways of Peru with Karen Duncan, who taught with Alberto Villoldo’s Four Winds Society before embarking on her own teaching career. Mindy has studied in Peru with the indigenous medicine women and men of the Q’ero nation as well as with Jose Luis Herrera, of Rainbow Jaguar and the Andean Research Institute. Mindy’s quantum leap took place when Doreen Virtue, the premier expert on Angels, gave her an on air reading that urged her to help other lightworkers find their way.

Mindy lives in Southwest Missouri and loves to hike, canoe and expand her connection to the land she loves so much. Mindy has a passion for holistic health, the environment and animals and campaigns for organic food safety, natural health choices and alternative energy sources.
